Whose website would win in a fight?
⚡ Just want raw domain battles? Enter DOMAIN BRAWL →Deep scan: the full homepage — size, scripts, tech, colors — shapes each monster.
Every monster is grown deterministically from real data — the same domain always spawns the same beast, just like the same CD always gave you the same monster in Monster Rancher.
⚡ Domain Battle reads the domain's DNS: A records feed LIFE, MX (mail) records feed POW, TXT records (SPF, DKIM, verifications) are armor for DEF, nameservers add DEF, DNS speed sets SPD, and the name itself shapes SKI and INT.
🕰 Pedigree counts too. The registry's birth records (via RDAP) age each monster: elders from the 90s are tougher and wiser, but a touch slower than this year's hatchlings. And every domain gets a street-value appraisal — short, clean, pronounceable names on premium TLDs grade UNCOMMON → RARE → EPIC → LEGENDARY, and rarity grants an all-stat bonus. A three-letter .com from 1995 is a monster in every sense.
🌐 Full Website Battle also fetches the homepage: page weight adds LIFE, images add POW, security headers and HTTPS add DEF, a slow or script-heavy page drags down SPD, links and forms train SKI, and word count feeds INT. The monster is even tinted with the page's dominant color, and its element can shift based on the tech stack (WordPress leans FLORA, React leans CYBER, Shopify burns FLAME…). A domain's deep-scan form is always a different creature than its domain-scan form over on Domain Brawl — same soul, different body.
Each element beats the next in the ring (and is beaten by the one before it):
FLAME ▸ FLORA ▸ TERRA ▸ VOLT ▸ AQUA ▸ CYBER ▸ SPECTRE ▸ FLAME
Your element comes from your TLD — .com burns FLAME, .org grows FLORA, .io hums CYBER, .edu stands TERRA-firm. Super-effective moves hit for 140%, resisted ones for 70%.
Battles are automatic: the faster monster usually strikes first, SKI raises accuracy and crits, INT makes a monster pick smarter moves (like healing when it's hurt), and POW vs DEF decides the damage. Monsters are deterministic, but the dice are not — rematches can absolutely flip.
Every monster carries three moves from the web-move pool (404 Slam, DDoS Breath, CAPTCHA Confound…) plus a signature move named after its domain.
Training runs a real Lighthouse audit on the monster's site using a headless browser on your machine. Performance trains SPD, Best Practices trains DEF, SEO trains POW, and Accessibility trains INT — so a genuinely well-built site raises a genuinely stronger monster. Score 90+ overall and your monster learns Lighthouse Beam.
